Join the CASSINI Hackathon Latvia in Riga and explore how EU Space data could be used to Connect the Arctic and protect its wildlife. This hackathon will be a virtual event.


Teams will be presented with 3 challenges which will test their creative skills and imagination from the very first brainstorm. They will use data from Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS to imagine game-changing solutions and will win career-changing prizes along the way!

Founding for development

The top teams of the CASSINI Hackathon Latvia will receive up to €2,000 and valuable mentoring sessoins with industry professionals:

  • 1st place at the Latvian Hackathon will win €1,800 for development and €200 for marketing
  • 2nd place will win €950 for development and a 15-hour business development mentoring session 
  • 3rd place will win €750

Mentoring

The top 3 teams across all hackathons will be awarded with an additional +100 hours of expert mentoring.
