Who was involved?

The CASSINI Hackathon Portugal was organised by IPN – Instituto Pedro Nunes, the coordinator of ESA Space Solutions Portugal.

Joining this hackathon was an extraordinary opportunity to meet the team and engage with the space community in Portugal!

Each team taking part in our hackathon received a special participant kit full of goodies for the weekend.

Teams participating in the CASSINI Hackathon Portugal had access to business and technical experts from our community.

The winning team have access to 3 months of virtual incubation at IPN Incubator.

About the organiser

IPN – Instituto Pedro Nunes, is a private non-profit organisation created in 1991 by the University of Coimbra, which promotes innovation and technology transfer by connecting business to academia.

Since 2014, IPN coordinates ESA Space Solutions Portugal, a “one-stop-shop” for space opportunities and repurposing of space technology. By exploiting space know-how to create new applications we can bring space down to Earth!
