Join the Hackathon in Prague!
Discover the potential of space data and create a solution to support environmental change or green transition. Join the 7th CASSINI Hackathon in Prague to network, collaborate, and explore important challenges. Your next venture could start here…
Registration is free, and anyone can join; no experience is necessary. You’ll be inspired by local experts in business and space technology. You’ll learn how to access space data from Copernicus and satellite positioning and navigation services from EGNOS and Galileo. You’ll meet skilled people, join a team, and develop a pitch to meet one of the challenges:
- Monitoring and reporting on carbon emissions
- Optimising services and planning to develop sustainable living
- Predicting and mitigating climate change
Our local ecosystem, including tech startups, research institutions, and environmental organisations, is highly invested in protecting the environment. Could your solution support green transition in the Czech Republic? Insane Business Ideas is currently setting up an incubator for startups in sustainability, and will offer support packages to the winners of this Hackathon. Join us in Prague between 13th-15th September and leverage EU space data for the chance to win.
Prizes
Local prizes:
1st PLACE: €1,000
2nd PLACE: € 700
3rd PLACE: € 300
The top three teams from all competing hackathons will receive a total of up to €9,000 in prizes (1st place: €5,000; 2nd place: €3,000; 3rd place: €1,000).
Mentoring
The top 3 teams across all competing hackathons will be awarded an additional 100 hours of expert mentoring.
