Protecting our rural areas
Hacked with a purpose. Leverage #EUSpace data & signals to access, understand and protect our natural spaces.
Participants put their skills to the test and tackled one of our three challenges under the theme of Digitising Green Spaces.
In the Czech Republic the CASSINI Hackathon was organised by Business and Investment Development Agency CzechInvest. The space you need to get your business ideas off the ground!
We challenged hackers to solve issues such as droughts, overheating of cities, the bark beetle calamity and the lack of cycling paths in our cities. We had a team of mentors ready to support you and we prepared webinars to introduce you to the possibilities of using satellite data to solve the issues which interest you.

The CASSINI Hackathon Czech Republic winners received:
- €2,000 prize money for the winning team
