Join the CASSINI Hackathon Finland in Tampere and explore how EU Space data could be used to Connect the Arctic and protect its wildlife. This hackathon will be a hybrid event, so you can join in person or virtually!


Teams will be presented with 3 challenges which will test their creative skills and imagination from the very first brainstorm. They will use data from Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS to imagine game-changing solutions and will win career-changing prizes along the way!
 

Cash prize

The winners of the CASSINI Hackathon Finland will receive up to €5,000 in cash prizes:

  • 1st place: €5,000

All of the participating teams will have the opportunity to keep in touch with their paired mentors and further develop their careers. In addition, the NSS will provide hackers with swag bags and goodies to help them remember the experience.

Mentoring

The top 3 teams across all hackathons will be awarded with an additional +100 hours of expert mentoring.

About the venue

The CASSINI Hackathon Finland will be organised as a hybrid event at Platform6. Participants can choose to join the event virtually or at the venue in person. For participants who want to join the physical hackathon, the organiser will provide accommodation during the event from 5th to 7th November.
