Join the Hackathon in Gdansk!
Interested in space technology? Learn how to utilise it and design a solution to make Europe safer and stronger. The 8th CASSINI Hackathon provides training, mentoring, and inspiration to build your own solution and – maybe – be involved in your own space startup. Big ideas start inside the Hackathon…
Registration is free, and anyone can join – no experience necessary. Come along (in person or virtually) to hear from national experts in business and space technology. Watch our training sessions and delve into the vault of EU space data from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. Bring or join a team, and develop a solution for one of three challenges:
- Enhancing Defence & Security with Geospatial Intelligence
- Unmanned Drone Applications for Defence & Security Operations
- Orbital Security: Navigating the Collision Frontier
Poland is now a frontier country, bordering war-torn Ukraine. We have been the target of hybrid cybersecurity attacks as well as the Nord Stream (I and II) gas line attacks. As the largest NATO country in the region, Poland is dealing with ongoing security challenges, so the theme of this edition of the Hackathon is relevant and pressing.
The weekend presents the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and build new solutions in defence and security. Join us in Gdansk on November 22-24, 2024, and discover the vast potential of EU space data.
