Are you ready to develop solutions to shape the future of health? The 9th CASSINI Hackathon provides training, mentoring, and inspiration to power your next project. Could you be part of Greece’s next space tech start-up? Big ideas start here…
Join this event to hear from national experts in health and space technology. Watch our online training sessions and learn to use the data from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. Bring or join a team, and develop a solution for one of three challenges:
- Monitoring disease outbreaks and health risks
- Enhancing smart emergency healthcare delivery
- Supporting mental health and well-being
In Epirus, technology is already being used to address health challenges. Our area is mountainous, with isolated communities, which produces challenges in emergency service delivery, remote patient monitoring, and the medical supply chain. Space-enabled solutions can bridge technological gaps to support established medical protocols. The University Hospital of Ioannina has recently made investments in our digital health infrastructure – the sector is ready to embrace the future.

This edition of the Hackathon will be organised by Envolve, a leading name in the Greek start-up ecosystem. By providing funding, mentorship and business support, Envolve has helped local start-ups to attract over €330 million in investment.
This Hackathon will be integrated with the Zagori Impact Investing Summit, offering exciting opportunities for participants to meet potential investors. Envolve will provide post-event support to help promising teams develop connections and secure funding.
