In the healthcare sector, local challenges include air pollution and heatwaves, patient record management and service delivery, all of which will be addressed by the participants in this edition of the Hackathon!

About the organisers
TESEAS develops technology solutions which drive efficiency and innovation, specialising in biotech, environmental science and AI. TESEAS will host this Hackathon at the University of Bologna – which is where Giovanni Cassini was Principal Chair of Astronomy, building a legacy which continues today.  
By fostering collaboration among startups, SMEs, and experts in space technologies and healthcare, TESEAS will create a dynamic environment to inspire groundbreaking ideas at this Hackathon.

SEDS Italy

Acting as a bridge between academia, research institutions, and industrial organizations, the Consortium focuses on technological transfer to create synergy between research labs and production sites. Specialized in renewable energy systems, precision mechanics, power electronics, energy storage, software development, and power plant engineering, Hypatia promotes interdisciplinary research in material science by developing prototypes to explore functional properties and technological applications.

Pro.mo.da

Promoda is a science-driven engineering firm specializing in applied research in the life sciences and space sectors, with a focus on developing innovative solutions that merge biology, engineering, and advanced materials. Among its core activities, Promoda designs and produces advanced bone engineering scaffolds that mimic the natural bone environment to promote tissue regeneration, offering promising applications in biomedical treatments. Aurora Rocketry

Aurora Rocketry is a non-profit organization based in Forlì, dedicated to cultivating skilled and passionate engineers capable of working collaboratively as a team. The organization focuses on researching, designing, and building rockets and rocket engines to compete in student competitions across Europe, with an emphasis on learning, teamwork, and having fun throughout the process.The team's existence is a testament to the determination of its founders, the support of aerospace department professors, and the invaluable guidance of Skyward, the rocketry team from Politecnico of Milan. 

EUROAVIA Forlì-Bologna

EUROAVIA Forlì-Bologna is a student association dedicated to aerospace engineering and technology, part of the international EUROAVIA network. It connects students from the University of Bologna with the aerospace industry through technical projects, workshops, and networking events. The association fosters innovation, teamwork, and professional development, offering members opportunities to collaborate with industry experts and participate in international competitions. By organizing company visits, lectures, and hands-on activities, EUROAVIA Forlì-Bologna helps students bridge the gap between academia and the aerospace sector, preparing them for future careers.

Space Generation Advisory Council

The Space Generation Advisory Council is a global non-governmental, non-profit organisation and network which aims to represent university students and young space professionals to the United Nations, space agencies, industry, and academia. The SGAC supports the United Nations programme on Space Applications; actively takes part at COPUOS, its subcommittee, UN Symposia and High Level Forums in order to present the opinions and recommendations of its members, events and project groups. 

Clust-ER Health

he Health and Wellbeing Industries Clust-ER (Clust-ER Health) is the association recognised and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region, set up to foster the development of innovation projects and policies in the Health and Wellbeing sector, which is recognised as a strategic sector for regional development, and to maximise the social and economic spin-offs of such projects in the regional territory.
Large Enterprises, SMEs, Universities, Research Centres, Healthcare Structures, Training Bodies and Patients' Associations that share skills, ideas and resources to support the competitiveness of the Emilia-Romagna Health and Well-being Industries sector adhere to Clust-ER Health.

Istituto Romagnolo Dino Amadori

The Romagnolo Institute for Cancer Research “Dino Amadori” (IRST) is a leading center for oncology research and treatment in Emilia-Romagna.
